Biography:
Line Spectra is the one-man side project of City Seventeen's Rhys Copeland. He began recording experimental compositions under the moniker shortly after recording City Seventeen's debut EP, "EP1", in an attempt to "get some things out of my system". The result was the three-track anti-electro Lévy Flight single: a short selection of compositions put together in a short space of time and with minimal post-editing, the very antithesis of the then recently completed EP1.
In late 2008 work began on the followup, 2009's Transducer, the first full-length release and a departure from the more chaotic sounds of Lévy Flight into more abstract ambient pieces.
