Biography:

e.p. hall is the dark folk brainchild of e.p., who creates thinky creepy, guitar-and electrobuzz folk music along with her musical partner in crime, Andy Goheen. The project has been described as having a “…haunting vocal style and unique finger-picked guitar combined with…warm and engaging keyboards and effects to create beautifully mournful songs”. Much of the content of e.p. hall’s songs emanates from an intense preoccupation with philosophy and psychological science, and each one is strung through with symbols, word games, and a tangible emotional intensity.

Active members of the Bloomington, Indiana music scene since 2006, e.p. hall appeared on the "Live From Bloomington" charity compilations in 2007 and 2009, and also performed as guests on WFHB’s "Local Live" radio program. They have played loudly and softly with a wide variety of bands and venues. Both e.p. and Andy also play music in Andy’s own project, Sticky and the Bees.
