Transducer is a journey into another world, alien shapes drawn in coloured polygons swirl as you arrive. The music, although electronic, is organic and flowing - there are no cut-up samples and disjointed beats here. Some of the tracks ("Drifter", "Tangent") are peaceful, almost joyful, others carry a hint of threat with chitinous noises and shimmering heat ("Incident Plane", "Bode"). Spacious, meditative, with slowly shifting layers and textures, this is music for driving alone through the night, music to take you far away.
